Highlights are not appearing
After installing or updating ClipShelf, refresh any pages that were already open. Chrome injects the extension only when a page loads.

ClipShelf is intentionally simple. These answers cover the most common setup and capture questions.
Open the side panel
Click the ClipShelf icon in Chrome’s toolbar. Pin the icon from the extensions menu if you want it to remain visible.
Restricted pages
Chrome prevents extensions from reading internal chrome:// pages and Chrome Web Store pages. Highlights cannot be captured there.
Local files
Open ClipShelf’s extension details and enable “Allow access to file URLs” before capturing text from local HTML files.
Delete saved text
Use Delete on any card, or Clear all at the top of the panel. Deleted highlights cannot be recovered.
